Riverside Pediatrics is proud to participate as a local site for the national Reach Out and Read program. This program promotes early literacy by providing age-appropriate books at each well visit to parents and children from ages 6 months to 5 years old. Research has shown that parents reading to their babies and preschool children for a minimum of 20 minutes daily improve their child's reading readiness when they start kindergarten. Our books are provided free to patients and are paid for by private donations. Please talk to Dr. Beumer if you would like to become a donor
