Michelle Beumer, MD

Dr. Beumer grew up in Gray Summit, Missouri, playing outside and reading as many books as possible (she got her first library card when she was 10 years old). She graduated from Greenville University in 1995 with a BA in Chemistry and Biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1999. She completed 3 years of residency in pediatrics at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics and started practicing pediatrics in Washington, Missouri, in 2002. She is a fellow of the American College of Pediatricians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Gabrielle, LPN

I was born and raised in Washington. I love spending time with my family especially my 2 amazing boys! We love camping and spending time near the river. I graduated from Washington School of Practical Nursing in 2015. Before this I worked at St. Louis Children’s Hospital as a Patient Care Tech for 7.5 years. After receiving my LPN license I worked for 1 year with Phoenix Pediatric Home care, until I found my home here at Riverside Pediatrics on November, 21 2016!

Diana, RN

I have been a Pediatric RN for 34 years. My nursing experience started in 1987 on the Pediatric floor of what was then, St John’s Mercy Hospital. After several years of night shift, I transferred to the Newborn Nursery and worked there for 19 years. I have also worked for Mercy McAuley Clinic in the pediatric department and Mercy-Pediatric clinic before coming here to Riverside in 2019. I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 children, 2 grandchildren and my little pup, Chief!

Hannah, RN

I was born and raised in Washington. I enjoy spending time downtown, with friends and family. I graduated from Washington School of Practical nursing in 2020. I have experience in home health nursing and worked at an adult/adolescent eating disorder clinic prior to finding my place here at Riverside in January 2021!

Clarrisa Kopp, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC 

Clarissa is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner–Primary Care. She grew up in Labadie, Missouri, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri Southern State University in 2019. She continued her education at the University of Missouri–Columbia, where she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in December 2025. As a registered nurse, Clarissa worked as both a staff nurse and charge nurse at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for nearly seven years, gaining extensive experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with her husband and their Labrador Retriever, Remi.

I found my home here at Riverside in 2025 as a medical receptionist. Previously I worked as a High School Art teacher and then spent many years as an office manager at a local veterinary office.  I love being part of such an amazing team here!  My husband and are the proud parents of one daughter and a house full of fur babies.  Spending time with family, time outdoors, crafting and baking keep me busy the rest of the time!

Kerry Brinker

I moved to Washington 20 years ago and joined Riverside as a medical receptionist in 2023.  In my spare time I like to read, go for walks, and spending time with my lovely daughter & my 6 grandchildren.  Being part of the team & welcoming our patients and their families is the best!
